Sounds like a challenging but fun day! My most recent mountain hike was a few weeks ago up on Mt. Bailey in Douglas County, Oregon. But we didn't exactly make it to the top. Let's just say the trails aren't well marked and that I was thankful for a guy named Jack whose job it is to rescue lost hikers.

Does it make you want to go back and find your way to the top?

Yes, maybe next summer. But I will be sure to bring a map, compass and someone who knows how to get there. This was one of those trips where everyone assumed someone else knew where we were going and the people who had done the hike before where armed merely with vague recollections of when they had done the hike 10 years before!

My Photo
Hello! My name is Hannah and I am a pediatric nurse in Montana. My boyfriend is currently in grad school, so this is how we found ourselves in the beautiful Big Sky country. I love to bake new goodies, explore new places, and try new things.
